bass buying guide : common bass buying questions : blems
What is a ‘Blem’?
Blem is short for blemished. Blem is a nice, cute way of saying damaged. But, most likely it’s not too damaged and can offer some savings over buying a brand new bass.
A blem is not a used bass. It’s just a new bass with a hickey somewhere. Whatever damage has occurred to it probably won’t affect the tone. It’ll be something cosmetic.
